Community Health Plan (CHP) Facilities
North Adams, Massachusetts: This project consisted of the construction of a new 17,000 sq.ft. facility for a CHP medical treatment and office facility. The HVAC system consisted of a central station VAV system with hot water reheat.
The electric systems included a new service from Western Massachusetts Electric Company and a fire alarm system. Quantum Engineering Company was responsible for all plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
Poughkeepsie, New York: This project consisted of the renovation of a 40,000 sq.ft., 2-story office building previously owned and occupied by IBM. Significant renovations were performed to the existing Governaire
central station multi-zone air handling systems. The system was converted to a VAV type with hot water reheat. The existing 800 ampere
277/480 volt/3-phase electric service was adequately sized to serve the new facility.
