111 West Avenue: The College purchased a 60,000 square foot abandoned supermarket and converted the space into administration, bookstore, and campus printing center. The environmental control is provided by a geothermal water source heat pump system. The system includes 24 wells, 400 ft deep to provide the heat rejection and heat absorption for the heat pumps. The 40,000 square foot office area is served with a 12” raised access floor with under floor air distribution plus distribution for power and data cables.
2 Union Avenue: This new 40,000 sq. ft administration and classroom facility is presently in the bidding phase and is planned for construction the fall of 2005.
