Leonard Hospital
Quantum Engineering Company was commissioned to provide design and construction support services for various projects to improve energy efficiency and address New York State Health Code related deficiencies.
The total mechanical and electrical project costs were $1.3 million. The various projects include:
- Add eighteen (18) modular gas-fired boilers serving six (6) 25,000 CFM +/- air-handling cells.
- Add gas-fired domestic water heaters.
- Add gas-fired steam boilers and steam humidification grids to the six AH cells.
- Add gas-fired steam boilers, piping and accessories for steam autoclaves.
- Modify ductwork and re-balance entire hospital to provide NYSDOH Code required air changes and pressure relationships.
