The project involved an evaluation of the electrical facilities contained with a Mid-1800's historic mansion located near Poughkeepsie, NY. The evaluation included a review of the existing electric power system, wiring and lighting and to determine the approach for rewiring which would minimize the impact to historic finishes. The house contains (3) floors plus an attic and a basement. The facility is utilized as a museum and is in full operation. The electric work required close coordination with the contractors to allow the work to proceed while the facility is in operation.
