University Heights Nursing Home
This building is an existing 5-story, 165- patient nursing home constructed in approximately 1970. Quantum Engineering Company provided design services for various projects including the installation of backflow prevention devices
on the domestic water service and fire water services plus selected energy conservation measures. The energy related items include converting a 150 kW electric domestic water heating system to a gas-fired system and
replacing 20 year old through-the-wall terminal heat pumps with more efficient units.
